When I was making my decision to come to California State University, Chico, I wasn’t sure what major I wanted to pursue. I really wanted to do Computer Animation/Game Development, but I also wanted to pursue Business. I talked to my parents and brother about it and they both recommended I try to go toward Computer Animation/Game Development because they knew about my passion for video games. So naturally, I thought about it for a couple days and finally came to a conclusion. I decided I was going to pursue Computer Animation/Game Development. I chose this major because I am really into video games and I eventually wanted to make my own game someday. I have always wanted to make my own video games, but I was only interested in actually being motivated to make them for the past 5-6 years. I feel like it would be an experience most people don’t get to have. I have wanted to make video games for about 5-6 years and I saw my chance to take the opportunity. Making money wasn’t the reason why or the motivation I had in making this decision, but if I did make money that would be a real treat and rewarding for all the hard work and time that is put into making these games. I also want to work for a big company that makes top tier games like Treyarch, Ubisoft, Unreal Engine, EA, and Blizzard. All these companies I have looked up to while growing up and I loved all of the games they have made.
